    FS: Rear Trailing Arm Monoballs

I have a few sets of Rear Trailing Arm Monoballs left from our last batch.

The Monoball Housings are manufactured from high strength Aerospace Grade Titanium Alloy (6AL4V) which has been Black carbide coated.

These housings will be 100% Corrosion Resistant and much higher strength than the zinc plated components commonly used.

High Quality spherical bearings have been pre-fitted to the housings using the manufacturer's recommended preload to ensure long term reliability.

The Spherical Bearing is retained in the housing using a Smalley's Spirolox Double Retaining Ring. These Rings are much more secure and stronger than low cost Snap Rings and provide superior bearing retention. The Spirolox Ring is manufactured form a spring temper 316 Stainless Steel.

The Monoball Housing is also secured into the Trailing Arm using an external Smalley's Spirolox Double Retaining Ring, also manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel.

Seals-It Spherical Bearing Seals are also supplied to prevent the ingress of dirt and to provide a Weather Seal.

The Misalignment Spacers are manufactured from a High Strength 7075-T6 Aluminium Alloy and are Black Anodised to provide corrosion resistance.

The Monoball Housings are supplied with pre-cut 'Shim Kits to allow precise fitting of the Monoballs into Trailing Arms and Torsion Bar Mounting Brackets that have varied in size over the several generations of production.

A comprehensive set of Installation Instructions is also provided with each kit.

    $185 + shipping per set.

They fit all trailing arms 1965 to 1989.

The tolerance between individual arms is as great as the differences between the different generations of arm.

We based our initial measurements on Aluminium arms and have never had any issues with any style of arms from SWB to Turbo.

    Hi Chris

Do you still sell these Trailing Arm Monoballs?
Also, I am looking for SWB Torsion Bar Mounting brackets. Do you know anyone selling these are would you have a CAD-drawing with dimensions for these?

    Cheers,
    Pim
