International shipping companies Importing vehicle into US

Greetings - I am a new member that would welcome any advice on shipping and importing a vehicle into the US. I own a UK registered 1971 911s which is currently in storrage in London England ( owned it for about 10 years now) and am looking to import, register and use the car in Houston Texas . Any leads in helping me find a reputable shipping company as well as an importer that is registered with the NHTSA who could assist with the documentation process, customs clearance, registration of the vehicle in Texas, etc would be gratefully received. ( If this message has been posted in the wrong thread, I appologise - please feel free to move) . Thanks

    Hi Peter. Welcome.

I'm in the process of hiring an importer to bring a car I purchased from Italy into Houston. Shoot me a pm with your email address and I'll be happy to share anything I find out.

I've imported several cars into the UK from the US & have always used Kingstown Shipping (as have many others) & always had excellent service - I'm sure they could help:

    Good morning Peter,
I used Matt Bonaime of Exim-cars to manage the importation of my Alfa from Holland. He took care of all the paperwork and shipping arrangements. PM me for more info.

Matts phone number is 859.951.8878, he has a website too.
