    Show me your 72 914/6

I don't believe there is such a thing.
Yes, we all know about 916s.
Please show me photographic proof and factory documentation that such a car exists. I am an old Curmudgeon and don't want to be referred to internet sites, either. Yes, I know that if you read it on the internet, it must to be true.

    Ciao

They exist. Rarest of the 914/6s. I've worked on a few. They are more VW than Porsche.

Not to pile on but David Letterman of Late Show fame who's close to my brother in Law allowed us in a few years back when he had most of his car
collection in a hanger at Santa Monica airport ,and low and behold of his six or seven Porsches mostly Carrera Speedsters and Coupes but an errant 3.2
Carrera as well was a silver 916 the real deal !...Bert

I really like my willow green 1971 914-6. These are happy cars and define their era.

I had a 70 914-6. Back when I had one in the early 80's I was told there were maybe 250 late 71's that were sold as 72's. Here is part of a page from my first issue of Excellence was Expected.

The person I bought my 911S from had a '72 914/6.... it was blue with black interior... I rode in it many times. It was great while it was running, but that wasn't very often. I remember walking back to the house.... TWICE. lol
