    67s interior aluminum trim

Does anyone have the contact info on the member who was planning on reproducing the bright dipped aluminum extrusion trim that is used on the dash trim?
    Thanks

A Registry memeber had made a couple of posts about extruding the U shaped edge detail. Can't locate the Post/member.

I can't believe that there isn't any repro S-trim/L-trim for the SWBs available. Reproduction shouldn't be a big deal. I would be interested in having these trims too.
Could someone provide the correct messures and details of the U-Profile for the dash and door trims please?
    Best regards from Germany

Welcome aboard from Germany! Why is it hard to believe? It is a 'Big Deal' to reproduce any parts especially small trim pieces specific to a few models. There is some one here just doing that and has an excellent selection already in his short time doing this. This is a labor of love and passion and to do these correct and good quality you are not doing for profit as your main drive. Stay tuned. As these cars (especially the S models)are climbing the profit scale you will see more things being redone. Be patient. Even original parts are getting scarce. Fly over here to the US for the March 1st swap meet in Los Angeles CA. Then swing by the Hershey PA meet in April. Two biggest and best Porsche only parts swaps/shows in the US.

    Best!

Anyone knows what is the correct finish on these trims (polish, semi-polish, or raw alum)? I'm thinking about polishing them just to match AFS' chrome window winder and other chrome trims in the cockpit. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Thank you. Looks like I'll be leaving the finish on these trims as is.
