    Found early 911 gearbox 901/0 SN#100114 - Looking for correct home~

    Good evening folks,

    I've been lurking here for a while but the first time I've had a reason to post here! I work at a small repair/restoration shop in Marietta, GA, throughout my searching we have just found a very early 911 gearbox 901/0 serial number 100114. In researching the Porsche technical manuals it appears as though this is basically gearbox #113 and searching through this forum (THANKS!) it seems Porsche used 17 gearboxes in the first 10 cars, likely landing this gearbox a home in one of the first 100 911's ever built!

    Is there any way to determine what car this came from? Any information you could offer would be great!

    That was originally in VIN 300107. Is there a date code in this area?
