    E Brake part

When I pulled my rear rotors my passenger side EB was missing a piece. I have never had the EB opened up so am not aware what it's actually called. It's one of two metal pieces that wedge under the knob. Do they still make parts for the brakes other than the pads.

I refer to that part as a "bow" for want of a better term. I replaced mine recently, http://www.sierramadrecollection.com..._detail&p=9214

Thanks for the lead. The bottom piece must have broke off. I guess that means my drivers side was the only one that functioned since the brake was working.

That piece had to go somewhere. You find it?

Sometimes you can put them back together...

There are 4 of those bows per car. Your picture shows the outside one. There are 2 for the left and 2 for the right. The legs of the bows go under the pegs on the brake shoes. So on the left side brake all 4 legs of the 2 bows have to be under the pegs. As you progress thru the installation confirm position of the 4 legs. Then adjust the shoes, then the cables with nuts + jam nuts. Its not easy, takes a little time to get it right. Gled
