    The Project Begins!

Hey everyone! Just delivered my car to Vintage AutoCraft in Lebanon, TN so I can have some minor rust issues addressed so I won't have to have them addressed when they could be a lot more serious...read $$$$$$$$! The craftsman, Tim Marinos just started his shop just over a year ago and it has been growing a bit each month! He has worked on some pretty cool cars in his day working for Paul Russell and in his own shop as well. After taking a quick inspection around and under the car he was very excited to begin the work as he stated the car was in excellent shape for being almost 50 years old. We decided to take it down to bare metal since it had seemed that the original paint had been over-sprayed with a quick paint job after some minor work had been completed. The rest of the car is in great shape as the entire interior seems to be original and in decent shape as well. The idea of the project is to preserve what's there and not go overboard to bring the car to pre-showroom condition. At least, not at this point....

If anyone is interested here's a link to his website.

I'll post pictures and update the thread as we continue.

I'm very excited to get my car back on the road! I've really missed driving her through the ESSES!

    Cheers!
    Craig

Thanks Mike! This is almost as much fun as driving the car! But driving is definitely a lot more fun!

    Cheers!
