    Porsche 911 S 2.0 double detonator

The Porsche 911S was delivered as a '68 model by the end of July 1967 the Porsche wholesalers Schultz in Dusseldorf. About the first subsequent months is no information in advance.

In April 1968, the car went into the possession of the driver Erhard Sport Sailer. Sailer was a pharmacist in Velbert in Dusseldorf. He ran the motor sport as a hobby. With a Porsche 356C/1600SC he had won in 1966, inter alia, the 1000 km race at the Nürburgring, the class GT cars up to 1600 cc.

With the newly acquired 911S he launched two years later, this time in the 2-liter class. There he faced along with his co-driver Konrad Lammers seven other Porsche 911 and a MG B. With a training time of 10.57,4 minutes the team with the absolute standard 911S as the fastest Porsche, which was firstly prepared professionally and secondly was driven by the top people Dieter Glemser and Peter Nöcker were.

After this motorsport large-scale operations, the car was driven 1968 and 1970 at over 50 events.
