    '68 Heads on a '65?

Just wanted through something out there to see if there any issues/pitfalls with using heads with a '68 casting date on a '65 engine. Are there any issues with emissions control equipment or any other issues?

    Cheers!

U.S version will have air injection ports, but they can be plugged. Use VW part #N-106-379-01 threaded plugs to plug the ports. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Yes it does, I've also seen the later heads where the boss hasn't been bored out...that wouldn't be a problem would it?

The valve pockets in the pistons have to be machined for the bigger valves .
