    From the limited pix, looks like a decent driver caliber '65. No shot of engine number though. Has lots of later parts visible so if still original cases somebody spent some extra time and money to mate those later chain boxes to the aluminum cases.

    My guess is the reserve is quite high and negotiations are taking place off of eBay. It will probably sell, but will show as not having reached the reserve on eBay. In other words - seller uses eBay for a cheap way to get wide exposure. Common and cost effective strategy.

    I suspect the ad may not be real. I have sent several emails, requested the sellers ebay contact info and called, and tracked down yet a third number and left a message there as well.

    No response at all.
