    Dead pedal area?

    Hello all,

I have a 69t and am currently researching my car, is there normally some kind of bracket or seem weld just above where a dead pedal is installed?

In the pictures you can see a rusting seem that is about 7 inches in length, does something normally go here or is it just a case of the under seal pealing away and the area rusting. It looks rough as if something was removed?

BTW: the car is a UK RHD.

Sorry I'm a novice and thanks for your help,

Thanks, are you telling me it had a dead pedal some time in its life, is this factory standard or something added by the owner?

    Appreciate your help.
