    Austin Cars & Coffe

Some of the 993 boys are talking about meeting up in Austin on Sunday, February 9th. Evidently. unknown to me, there is a monthly Cars & Coffee gathering @ The Oasis on Lake Travis (, held the second Sunday of the month.

Has anyone ever attended? Not familiar with The Oasis, but it's been a couple of decades since I hung out at Travis. J

The C&C event used to be in Leander. Then there was a falling out amongst organizers and they split. First Sunday is still in Leander town center. Second Sunday is at the Oasis. Usually about 3X a year I get to Leander with some friends. It usually involves an early morning spirited drive and then stopping by the C&C on the way home. I guess the last event I went to was the beginning of November.

There can be some great cars there. Usually if I get time I go for a drive rather than stand around and look at cars. YMMV.
