    Headlights & Turn Signals Issues

I went out for a night drive and noticed that with the headlights on, the right-side headlight was noticeably dimmer than the left-side headlight. With the hi beams on, it is event dimmer. Additionally, the right-side tail light goes out and the turn signal light does not function when the headlights are on.

Anybody have similar issues ever and what was your fix? I am guessing it's s voltage issue and need to test wiring and grounds, etc?

    Any advise is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

I have a friend that stated to me, just yesterday, that was experiencing no passenger headlight and no tachometer until the car warmed up with his 1980 SC. He then added it would act normally and both work exactly at the same time, after that full warm-up point.

My thought is that there must be a loose/wearing relay or to be ground related.

    Josh,

Sounds like resistance, clean the ground (on the battery box)

I'd say clean the terminal to the light, but as your having problems with the indicator as well I'd say ground.

Get a multi meter, and compare between the two lights.

    Are you running relays?

I had a similar problem that turned out to be corrosion at the fuse block. Removed all the fuses, wire brushed the contacts, reinstalled cleaned or new fuses as all was well.
