A sad day to report on

Last Monday I delivered my 2.2 S to Autohaus Hamilton for sale consignment after 10 years 3 months ownership.
As some of you know,I have bought a 914-6 from deepest darkest Texas which is due to arrive Feb 4.
Unfortunately,as I have only one garage and one even skinnier budget,so one must go !
Scott has a good writeup on their site so have a look see there.
I have done what I have wanted to do with the 2.2 S and driven where I have wanted to go.
So maybe there is also an element of the 'seven year itch' involved.
Over the years,I have had a number of Porsches (and others) in my 'Lotto Garage'
    I am now able to tick off three - 1975 Carrera 2.7,1971 2.2 S and now a 1970 914-6.
I have had the 914-6 in the LG since 10 Sept 1969 so its about time !

    Cheers,
    Dennis.

1970 914-6 - materialised from the 'Lotto' garage into reality
    1971 2.2 911 S - now back in the UK - sob!
1975 Carrera Targa (ROW) - missed.
One of us is fast becoming a valuable antique.

Best of luck with sale Dennis. It's a great car and should find a new home quickly.

I'm sure you're sad to see it go, but the 914-6 will be fantastic (I've always wanted one!) and perhaps it was time for a change.
