FS: Porsche 911 early rare horn button replica

Recreation of the original factory horn button that was the "de rigeur" choice for all early race versions and high performance road cars. As you may or may not know, rally cars were required to have fully functional horns, the "dogbone" and "batwing" styles had a nasty habit of hanging on the drivers gloves and flying off or worse yet snagging the gloves and NOT flying of!!! According to Jurgen Barth, replacing this with the hockey puck was the first order of business. This new version includes the base, bezel, insert and leather.

CNC Machined Aluminum features identical dimensions as originals. The Porsche logo is embossed in the center of the leather badge. Superb quality.

Nice item for R-type cars or if you are a stickler for originality.

$200.00 without spring clip / bracket (use your own) including FedEx shipping within the CONUS

No, it can't be used on a stock early batwing. Even though the ring has the same diameter, it's attached to the horn button in a different way.
