    FS: Tank Skids

New Tank Skids closely modelled on the Sporting Purposes' part and to match the engine skid.

These skids have been manufactured in a 3mm thick High Strength Speciality Steel - Domex 700MC which is not only very high strength but retains a high degree of ductility and weldability. It is an ideal material for the manufacture of guards and skids.

The mounting brackets are welded in place and the skids have been powder coated. They are supplied with stress plates for the luggage compartment and all fasteners needed for fitting. A closed cell foam pad to prevent chaffing between the guard and tank is also fitted.

We have fitted more than 20 of these skids and they have performed well. We did make a short run in an Aluminium Alloy but they don't survive close encounters with speed humps.

    $185 each + Shipping.

Are these for the stock tank, too. My understanding is the larger plastic tank sits lower to the ground. ....thanks,Cliff
