    Bosch Euro H1 restoration

I have my H1s apart for re-chroming the trim rings...a big enough pain.

Who has experience with or knows who can re-silver the reflectors, mine are just OK...so while I'm at it...

There has been a thread on this. Couldn't find.

Do the bulb sockets have to come off the reflectors, etc

    Appreciate some wisdom and experience.

I would ask John Audette, he has done many sets and I would consider the pair I bought excellent.

A while back I did some research on this and plucked these names from another website as companies who perform re-silvering. I have no experience with any of these companies:
www.queencityplating.com Queen City Plating 425-315-1992 (Washington)
    www.frankfordplatinginc.com Frankford Plating, Inc (Pennsylvania)
    carsrule@embarqmail.com Craig Riker 419-290-4442 (Ohio)
    www.nu-chrome.com Nu-Chrome (Massachusetts)
    Chidgey and Sons 619-441-2505 (California)
    Uviria Inc. 541-956-6880 (Oregon)

Additionally, you can also try this youself with a DYI kit. Again, no experience with this but it looks quite interesting:

Everyone please strike Nu-Chrome from your lists......They are being investigated by the Mass. Attorney general. They have had parts of mine for more than 18 months....no replies to e-mails or phone calls.....I got burned so you don't have to

Along the lines of H1 restoration, where do you get internal parts for these headlight assemblies? There are four black rubber bushings that hold the light adjusters- I have seen them in pictures of headlight rings for sale, but never seen them sold separately.

Those can be fabricated out of rubber tubing.
