    WTB: thermostat housing '73

    Hi,

I am looking for the thermostat housing for use with a 1973 oil tank. PET number 911.107.015.00 (only!), this one feeds the front oil cooler. Anyone has a spare and want to get rid of it? Please mail or pm me.

    Thanks, Cees

Don't forget the goofy double-threaded nut and ferrel, and the cheesy little bracket that goes with it.

Thanks, any chance to post the link, German or US eBay. I believe that little bracket in NLA, nut and ferrule should be no problem. I am waiting for a quote from the Porsche dealer in Holland.

    Cheers, Cees

Thanks for the link to the bracket, I am a fan of them so will order one.
That is a different regulator/thermostat, I think used in the 2.2S, may be 914/6-GT and RSR. It won't fit to the oil lines used in a '73. Sorry.

    Best regards,

    Cees

    Hi,
Can someone post a photo of the thermostat mounted with the bracket please. Also, how is it attached the the car? Is it screwed in with self tapping screws like the oil hose brackets along the side of the car?

    Many thanks
    Paul
