FS: 1973 Blaupunkt Karlsruhe radio. This is the luxurious version of the blaupunkt frankfurt model, technically identical, DIN socket/MP3 option. The radio is tested and is working. Asking $325 included shipping to USSV105180.jpgSV105182.jpgSV105183.jpg

Can you post a picture of the paper serial number tag on the side of the radio?

Any ideal if this radio could have been a Canadian or USA dealer installed radio back in the day? or more in likelihood been installed by the factory. I'm trying to find a top of the line Canadian dealer installed Blaupunkt for my car that would have been installed in the Nov.1970 range by a Toronto Porsche dealership, that is still going but haven't a clue on what Blaupunkt model they would have installed. The original owner remembers telling them to put in a good one. Nothing on the bill of sale other than "radio" at a pretty dear price of $251.00 for 1970.

Thanks for any help as this radio has the right tunning range for us here.

There is a good thread on how to identify U.S. market radios and bezels from ROW radios. I believe the LMKUU buttons identify this radio as a ROW radio and not a U.S. version, except for the fact that the bands go up to 108, and I thought the ROW radios went up to 104. Also, the numbers on the pre-72 radios went upwards from right to left. Do a search for correct radio in dash and you'll find a lot of answers there. Jim Breazeale seems to know a lot about radios so he would be a good source to ask.
