Clay or putty under rear exterior quarter window trim. Where to buy?

Sierra Madre does not have it listed on their site
and I don't know where else to look.
If anyone knows where I can buy some it would be appreciated.
    Its grey in color.
    Thanks

Hi, I think Stoddard Porsche Parts sells that. I believe it comes in a roll.

Don't know exactly what you are talking about, but Home Depot sells a heavy putty in the electrical dept. Mfg. by Gardner Bender (P/N DS110) called Duct Seal. Says it seals conduit openings against draft, dust moisture and noise. Used to seal around wires as they pass thru holes in studs. Very heavy bodied. May do the trick here. About $10 for 1 lb. (Google "Gardner Bender DS110")

I believe it's Butyl Tape, it is usually available from most hardware or paint stores.

From a vaque recall, the "putty" one wants is non-hydroscopic, that is it doesn't adsorb water. One doesn't want it to absorb and hold water because it would localize moistures and promote rust. I believe it is 3M that makes the correct putty, comes in strips and it is black.

Sierra Madre does have it here http://www.sierramadrecollection.com..._detail&p=5219 As suggested, many types/manufacturers. I used Terostat and it worked perfectly.

You can also use what is commonly referred to as 'plumber's putty'. It's "non-hydroscopic", endothermically pliable, elastomerically enhanced, tri-axially resilient, and all that other stuff. $1.99 at ACE Hardware.
