    1967 air box clips?

    I just received an air box for my 1967 911S project. The top clip on the intake for the air filter is different from all of the other clips, insofar as it does not have the caming action wire springs. Also the position of the "base" for the clip is not the same distance from the junction of the others. Is this normal?

    Yes that is correct, the upper central clip uses a split pin directly into the air box.
