    Thumbs up FS: 1967 Tourist Delivery Folder Brochure - 911, 911S & 912

    1967 Tourist Delivery Folder Brochure

Good condition - please see all pictures for condition, some slight sticker residue on front cover, written prices in pen near the tourist delivery prices, one staple mark...overall good readable condition, but not mint (I just wanted to describe it as best as I could and if it didn't have the minor condition issues I would be asking at least $50 more)

Printed in W.Germany in June 1966

    $100 (plus postage)

Postage is $3.00 for first class or $5.25 for the flat rate priority mail envelope in the U.S.

Postage everywhere else is $12.50 for first class international

I will carefully pack and sandwich the brochure between two cardboard pieces and mark the envelope "DO NOT BEND" so it gets to you in the same condition.

Those were the days - fly to D via PanAm first class of course in their 707 clipper - MB taxi to your city center hotel where you are welcomed into a luxurious suite - a day to decompress and then a fine dinner with a view. Next day off to the factory where you have a tour of the facilities and lunch with factory workers. Then it is off to the factory delivery center where they spend a few hours going over the car in detail. Back to the hotel parking garage where you tip Gunter an extra Mark to watch the car - next day with Michelin maps in hand you embark on a 3 month 5,000 mile 50 city 20 country tour. then to the nearest port where they ship your steed back to the states - all the while your SLR documenting it all for us poor slobs in 2014 to see on the Early 911S forum

For the records, above item is 1966, there exist two print dates (w adjusted prices).

1964/65 Tourist delivery had a cover all green (w ship).
    1967/68/69 had similar cover: 67 w blue bar, 68 w green bar, 69 w red bar.
1970/71 new design w green letters on white.
1972 similar design as 1970/71 but red letters on white. Used also in 1973.
