    New Shed!

Since moving of to the land of the white shoe, I have struggled to fit my toys into a house size garage. With the resto of the S getting into the really grubby bits now, I decided to take a plunge and buy a small warehouse (137sqm) to house the toys and get my 1970S cranking on.

I took the keys on Friday, and have taken out the walls under the mezzanine area. I have some old supermarket shelving, and I have started laying out all my parts in and orderly fashion. There is about 25sqm of mez and I have plenty of shelving to do the job.

I have painted the upstairs walls white and will get the rest of the walls done over the next week, now that the power is on.

I intend to put a scissor hoist or MaxJaX hoist in.

    More pics soon!

You're going to love it when you're done. I have a loft in my place and it's great for storage.

The biggest decision will be the flooring. I used rubber tiles from Sears. Don't do that. Tires mark them and if oil is on them for more than a couple of days the tiles are stained. I'm glad I didn't use them in the work area.

I used Rustoleum garage floor epoxy in the work area. While it's not as nice as a true epoxy it sure is a lot cheaper. It's been down for about 3 years now and I'm really pleased with it.

Richard, that is a stunning man cave. Love the wheel rack as well. I need to build one for my race car tyres. I had forgotten about that until I saw yours. Nice tip on the floor too.

John...ill take the fridge if thats ok. Come fown and check out the shelving. I should have some over for you.

Sorry about the crap Iphone photos. I have most of my parts and tools in place. I have secured the mez level, that was downright unsafe, and all my parts are now on shelving, with just a little more stuff to get over there in the next week.

I have to paint the main area now, and then its time to take the 70S shell over.

    Can't wait!
