Warnerman: CPR does outstanding work, but no car at this price point should be purchased without an independent PPI. As to whether the prices are "justified" that is a question only you and other buyers - who establish the present market value - can answer. The value of any thing is its fair market value, i.e., the price that a willing buyer and ready seller agree upon when compared to what other buyers will pay and what other sellers will accept. Good luck in your search!
CPR's here on the East coast as well, in Easton, MD I believe. I have spoken with Bruce Wakefield there. I was at a Dr. Evil transmission clinic this weekend in Richmond (go, I highly recommend it) and talked to someone who had recently been to a PCA tech session on welding and restoration at the Easton location of CPR.
Although I mention this FYI, it's probably of no help as the car you're interested in is physically out West. Good luck!

Never bought or visited but talked on two occasions. Very friendly and they spent a lot of time discussing their vehicles and services.

I've never done business with CPR but live about 30 minutes away and visited them a couple of years ago. I was very impressed with their facility and the quality of the work appears top notch. And that high quality is reflected in their prices.
