Hi all,

I am writing to announce that the vintage car Euro trip, code name SHIFT is set up and WE ARE GOOD TO GO!

"made to order" 5, 7 or 10 day trips with visits to the famous race tracks: Spa, Nürburgring, Hockenheimring, Monza, Le Manns, etc. Choose to attend Classic rallies as spectator or better yet as a participant IN YOUR OWN CAR.
The event calendar will be posted at www.pmwerkz.com .

The first event is the tour Amsterdam-Brussels-Luxembourg City-Saarbrücken-Strasbourg-Black Forest-Porsche Museum-Hockenheimring-Nürburgring and a track day at Spa-Francorchamps.
When: April 16th - 22nd, 2014

The tour price is $5911 per car and includes:
Round trip shipping of your car Newark-Rotterdam
6 nights of Hotel accomodations 3 Star or better
Daily Breakfast
Admission to Porsche Museum
Admission to 2 race tracks and 1 full day Track event at Spa Francorchamps

**not included: RT airfare to Amsterdam, consumables (fuel, tolls, oil) and insurance. Insurance can be obtained from Geico or Hagerty stateside or I can assist with liability insurance (Green Card) in EU.

Spaces are limited. OGRUPPE members reply with your membership number to receive a special discount.

The booking must be made by March 8th. Deposit of 50% is required at this time. The remainder is required by March 22nd.

A little update - I have booked flight and my 81 SC Targa landed spot on vessel to Belgium .travel plans in progress. Double checking technical side of car and......counting days.
April 14th at Brussels
.....then Brugge. ...Luxembourg City....Strasburg..... Neuschwanstein Castle......Porsche Museum, Stuttgart. ....Nürburgring....Spa-Francorchamps.

Locals !!! Please don't hesitate and recomend places to stop and things to see, and foods to taste. I have route but it isn't set in stone.


Based on cut off date for car ('s) to be on vessel and time needed to load and do leg work at customs - I have to move "last day to register" for tour from March 8 to March 1st.
Cut off date to drop car at my yard ( Newark, NJ) - March 12th.

Hi Gytis,

if possible I'll chime in when you're at the museum (perhaps for a lunch or dinner in Christophorus).
And let me know if you need some nice roads through the black forest - I've organized some rallyes there, and can provide nice Roadbooks on B-Roads from Offenburg (near Strasbourg) to Stuttgart.

Hi Gytis, here a bit of B-Road from Strasburg to Porsche Museum. If you can go over the rhine north of Strasbourg it would be better - Strasbourg can be a pain.
Even a bit of the old Solitude Racetrack is included. You'll definetly need a Roadbook (I can do that) to find it, because some of the roads are really tiny.
