    FS: early roof rack

Rack has been sold. A portion of the proceeds goes to the Early 911s Registry membership dues. THANKS!
Picked this up from a gentleman that had it hanging on his garage wall for many years. As good as it gets without being NOS.
He couldn't find the leather straps but may. IF found, they will go to the new owner. Chrome is in beautiful shape and has all the original hardware.
Even the rubber pads that attach to the rain gutters are present and look near new. Original tag still on the rack. I spent a day polishing it with chrome
cleaner and a cotton rag. No steel wool used. $2200.00 or best offer. Would prefer not to ship. Local SF Bay delivery/PU given preference.
I'm thinking of driving to LA for the Lit show and swap meet. We could meet there is that helps. Never sold anything before. Always a buyer.(hoarder)
Haven't posted much here as my focus is 912's and am a 912 Registry member. Ask Jeff Trask if you need a reference.
PLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST AND NOT PM. Pecking order as replies received.
If there's another picture you'd like, just ask. I added more pics to another post.
    Thanks,
    Tony

I will be driving down to LA for the Lit Show and Swap Meet. If anyone is interested in seeing the roof rack, give me a call and we'll meet. I'll be there from Fri afternoon to Sunday.

I checked with UPS to see what it would cost to ship the roof rack to the east coast. With insurance, about $125.00! This did not include packing. I figure that with the cost of packing material, Paypal fees (if used for purchase) and shipping it would run about $200.00
    OUCH
Rack will be in LA this weekend with a lower price of $1700.00
    Thanks,
    Tony
