Nice original car. Not a stretch at all for a hundred large.
What's the difference in value between a 356 C and SC?
Don't be surprised if T's and E's start closing the gap with S cars.
In the 356 market C or SC almost doesn't matter anymore as condition of car is more important. It used to be that 356 SC would command a premium over a 356 C but with speculators getting into the market, prices of all 356 cars have risen. I think this applies to 'regular' 356s as cars with 4cam engines (Carreras) are in a different league.
5 years ago a nice S model was 3 times price of a nice T or E, now the gap is closing and there's maybe a 50% premium on the S. Give it 5 to 10 years and it won't matter anymore, the supply of the early cars is limited (and declining) so any early 911 will be coveted. (Unless the bottom drops completely out of the market and we're in for a big reset)
I think that is basically correct for coupes. Not so for open cars IMHO. An S90 roadster, an SC cab will usually fetch more. They are RARE compared to coupe production. Only 16% of all speedsters made were supers. All things being equal a factory super speedster will get more than a normal.

Totally agree. SC CABS still command a premium over a C CAB. Based on Brett Johnson's information, a friend and I once did the math. Using Reutter vs Karmann production numbers, (cabs vs coupes), and SC vs standard C engine numbers....we came up with a total of 262 SC CABS produced for 64-65 model year. A real SC will ALWAYS be worth more than a standard C Cab.
And don't ask how we came up with these numbers....because I don't remember and I'm sure I could do it again....

You're right, I forgot about Cab prices since the Cabriolet doesn't factor into the 911 discussion. They used to say that 911 Targa's would command 10% - 15% less than Coupes but I don't really see that anymore either. Then again, 10% in today's market is hard to spot with prices rising so rapidly.
A similar 73.5 in yellow just sold on eBay for $46K.
