My *sincerest* apologies for posting what is already common knowledge- newswires posting about it today and I don't have one on order so it's not "old....OLD news" to me.

I hear you Stacy- several news feeds popped up with the story earlier today and it seemed like big news after Porsche was pretty much telling people "don't drive you car until we figure this out". At least the issue will be resolved prior to yours being built!

Maybe Porsche should take this as a sign from above and build the GT3 with a 6 speed. It is probably the electronics from the PDK being rejected by the car

LOL....!!! Don, I'm actually looking forward to the PDK in the car. My 996 GT3 was a little too much/harsh for driving around LA. I'm thinking PDK makes this one leaps and bounds better, faster, and easier to troll around town.

I hadn't read elsewhere that ALL the cars were being recalled. Earlier reports said that only some of the more recently produced cars were affected. I sold mine last week - after 900 miles. Not my favorite 911.

Was it the PDK only that turned you off?
