    Restoration Shops

Hey guys I am new to the forum but not new to air cooled Porsches. I had a few guys respond to my post on an older thread and I wanted to start another to see if I could get more response.

What are some of the better restoration shops around the country? I live in the South Eastern US and am mostly interested in East Coast/South East shops but open to hearing any. So far I have come across Paul Russel, Road Scholars, Klub Sport, 901, Rare Drive and a few others that were more difficult to find email/websites.

I am eagerly looking forward to the long, $$$, and frustrating process of restoring an early 911s.

Also check out Michaelian Restoration in Stuart, FL. Ask for Greg. They specialize in show quality body and paint on early 911's and 356's and did my car two years ago. Phil Bagley's Klub Sport Racing in Riviera Beach would be a good choice in SOFL for all things mechanical on your 911. I believe they usually sub out their body and paint restorations to Michaelian for their customers that want and are willing to pay for the very best.
    Cheers!

Thanks (Don?)...lots of great shops out there. The O.P. should describe what the car is and its condition...maybe there will be a good recommendation. Some resto shops are better at some things than others...

This board is a great place to ask...
