The quality looks great however I can't compare them to the old ones as I have never had a set. I was pleased that they still ship in a SSI box and not Dansk.

Price wise varies, they seem to go around $1900US on Pelican however since I am in Canada it was much more cost effective to bring them in from Europe.

Hope you document the fitting process and post it too... This is a job I have to do on my car sometime this year... Good luck!

I have a set on the FEDEX truck due to be delivered to me today for my 73S (ordered from Pelican). I will be able to compare and contract them to a still new set of SSI's that came with my S that were purchased by the former owner circa 1995 when he parked the car and never installed them. Unfortunately he ordered or was sent a pair incorrect for an MFI car back in the day...the box was unopened when I took ownership of the car and he never realized they were the wrong set.

Well that's a good sign. I have a set of Dansk SSIs on order from my local shop here, but Dansk was still playing catch up on production. Looks like they are rolling out.

I have a question about the little tabs on the insides. My car, 65/6, does not have a bolt in this location. I am guessing some where along the way Porsche added a stud or hole?
