    Charging new batteries

I just ordered 2 new batteries for my 73 911. They come dry, and will need to be charged. Does anyone know how many hours they should be charged and at what amperage?

    Thanks,

    John

Just did this- used a normal battery trickle charger overnight- think it was on a 2 amp setting, but it is automatic.

I was suprised how much electrolyte they took- 64oz per battery.

They will keep your batteries at peak condition, and you don't run the risk of over charging if you have a bad cell. I find I don't even check the SG when charging batteries any more.
