WTB: SSI thin flange, non MFI

After the seeing the pair that sold today (why do I fail to check here on days when deals like that pop up?) I figured I'd check again to see if anyone has new or used SSIs (the old ones) for sale....

Old ones = made in USA = known quality
New ones = made in ? = unknown quality

I have read some concerns over the gauge of the metal in the new ones, and the chemical composition of the steel... But have no evidence to evaluate with...

I also have no evidence either, but rumor at least has it that the old ones are better. They're not cheap. So might as well try to find the better ones.

The bew ones are made in Denamrk, they are made with the same dies and tooling that John had, SSI, and the aluminium is the same.
Dansk will not risk to loose there prime clientele, they would not risk there investment.
I say all of this, since i am a Distributor for Danks here in Spain, but have sold some set to Canada andROW too.

As a Dansk rep, perhaps you could explain why Dansk mufflers for 356 and 912 fit like total crap?
