Texas Hill Country Rallye XII March 27-30, 2014

    Hi Everyone,

It's time for a final update from your planning team. Make your accommodation arrangements for the 2014 rallye weekend, while hotels are still available. Currently we have more than 50 early cars signed up to attend, and we expect to see a record turnout of early 911s, 912s, 356s, 914s, and other vintage machinery. It is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy your Porsche for days at a time!!

We are pleased to announce that we have made arrangements with the same host hotel as last year, the Comfort Inn and Suites of Boerne. There is a block of 52 rooms reserved for our group at the special group rate of $95.00 per night. Many of us will be arriving Thursday, March 27th and departing Sunday, March 30th morning. Ask for the block titled "Porsche Hill Country Rallye", and reserve your room today. You'll need to call the hotel directly at the number below rather than reserving on line or through the universal 800 number. Please be aware, if by some chance there are any rooms left by February 27th, the block releases then, 30 days before the event. At that point our rooms are released to the public, and if you book after that date please expect their best posted rate of $129.00 per night. Planning ahead pays!

Comfort Inn & Suites Texas Hill Country
    35000 IH-10 West, Boerne, TX, US, 78006
    Phone: (830) 249-6800
    Map/ Directions

If you're unable to book a room at our host hotel, consider one of these close by alternatives.

    Motel 6
    1228 South Main Street
    Boerne, TX 78006
    (830) 249-3562

    Hampton Inn & Suites
    34935 Interstate 10 W
    Boerne, TX 78006
    (830) 816-880

In addition to the hotel info, here is a little teaser of one of the new things happening in 2014. Friday evening will be a first for us; a wash and shine car show and BBQ at the main plaza in Boerne. There is no "judging" planned and washing the bugs off is optional. We hope everyone enjoys this opportunity to share our cars with the community and each other. We'll be lining the cars up on the grass in the square and hanging out. It's important to mention that all the fees and permits associated with this event have been paid for us by the Boerne visitors bureau, who is thrilled to have us back for another year. Plan to bring a chair and relax.
