    KPZ vs Lemmerz Wheels

Is there a difference in the quality or fit between KPZ and Lemmerz steel wheels? I see both were manufacturers in the 60's and 70' for Porsche steel wheels. If there is a difference, what is it? Thanks.

Just trying to get some facts on anecdotal comments I remember reading elsewhere about the KPZ being superior.

KPZ s seem to be more abundant. Lemmerz seem to be the chromed version and KPZ the painted version. Which is better/best, I don't know. I'm sure there are some build differences. Never heard of any complaints or weaknesses expressed about either one.

Thanks Cliff. I didn't really expect that there would be a difference since both are relatively popular. As I am in the market for a set of late '69 steel wheels I thought I would ask the question just to settle my own curiosity.
