    '. . . This car is as close to an original ST as you can get, with many original NOS parts used in build of the project. We originally built this car around 10 years ago for customers of ours and since then it has been well maintained and cared for.

    We built the car as a "customer ST" would have been built in period on a correct 1972 "oelklappe" 2.4 911S chassis. In many Porsche engineer's eyes the 1972 911 was the ultimate 911. This is because in the development and search to improve handling, they moved the oil tank to in front of the rear wheels and within the wheel base of the car. Thus creating the much sought after "Oelklappe" 911.

    When we restored the car we took the shell back to bare metal and then proceeded with an over 1000 hour body and paint restoration which included period correct and FIA approved chassis strengthening and also a bolt in half cage as competition cars of the 1960/70's would have had installed. Finally the car was finished in it's factory delivered colour of Hellgelb or Light Yellow. We still have hundreds of photos of the restoration if you wish to see the quality of the work carried out.

    The car is running all the correct suspension with uprated Bilstein shocks, torsion bars and front and rear anti roll bars with 911S brake discs and callipers. 7" x 15" Front and 9" x 15" Rear Fuchs mounted with Michelin TB's really finish the car of perfectly.

    Inside the car is finished with a lightweight carpet set, half roll cage, two ST vintage seats, double leather covered Porsche steering wheel with "Hockey Puck" horn push and a 10K tachometer

    The engine is a correct 2.5 twin plug engine using original high butterfly intake system with a Bosch MFI pump. Recently the car has had engine and gearbox rebuilds and also an MFI pump rebuild and all been set up correctly on the dyno. The engine is cooled by twin wing mounted oil coolers as the car would have been in period.

    This is a great car to enjoy on the road but being so period correct it would be easy to gain FIA papers
