Well, I am wanting to use a one piece instead of the two piece / ash tray set up that is in my 70. I was not aware there was any differences in different year 1 piece pads.

Price is a good question, I have seen these go for $100 - $150 and I did not jump. That is the range I am looking for as I will be recovering so I just need a good base piece with a
cover that can be maybe used as a pattern.

    Hope that helps.
    Thanks
    Mark.

Try Retro Automotive in Vermont/New Hampshire. I find them to be a good source for used P parts. Good people, Matt or Roger.

The '66-'68 pieces are the same, with the returns on the ends. The different one is the early painted dash. This is one of those surprise pieces that has really gone up in sale value in the last few years. A couple of years ago you could not give them away. It must be the mod of fitting the one piece to the '69 and later cars driving the price.

Yes, that does seem to be the case & I might have put off finding one a bit to long...

I have what I thought was a 66 one, but it doesn't have the large ends. But it's RHD
