FS: Vintage 385mm Momo Indy wood steering wheel

    .

This is an early Momo Indy wood steering wheel manufactured in ~1966/'67.

The wheel is flat & has a diameter of 385mm.

Overall the wheel is in very good original condition with no gouges in the aluminium or bent/stress-marked spokes - just a few tiny surface marks close to the centre opening which would be more or less hidden once a horn push was fitted.

However, the wood rim does have some 'cracks' on the inner circumference where the side spokes enter the rim - see photos.

These 'cracks' are fairly shallow (a couple of mm deep) & could easily be addressed with some suitable wood filler - I'm pretty confident that they don't significantly compromise the rigidity/strength of the wheel.

Thanks Raj - yes, it's a lovely wheel that would look particularly good installed in an early car.

The 'cracks' I've outlined really are very shallow & are effectively only cosmetic.

I'd also be interested in a pair of '65-dated KpZ steel wheels as a partial trade ...
