    Carrera grille

    I bought this recently and was hoping someone here might know the correct color for these early style grilles and also if the 2.7 badge came black as an option (74 Carrera came with black outer trims standard or optioned with chrome #446) or is always supposed to be silver like the 2.7 badge below it in the picture?

    These were black anodized and yours has faded, I would not do anything to it. Background of the 2.7 emblem was also black.

    Never seen the 2.7 numbers in anything other than clear ano on the black base.

    Decided to clean up and use. Found this grille might have been built in the afternoon after a few beers.
