Chuck:
You must have been just moving it over to the Technical Section...
I heard Peter Kane deleted it for 'questionable content'...

Now, if Ed was in charge, he would fix this with a tie wrap!! Again (harumphhhh!) Great article about a great guy and Randy did a super job of describing one of the nicest and most talented guys around. I was the one that Ed rescued on an Early 911 drive with the tie wrap trick to the rotor on my 914-6, although to be fair, it was Gentleman Jim Murray that actually suggested the idea with Ed and I scratching our heads (and scratching something else too!) about the likelihood of that working. In any event, Ed has been a friend since he recommended that 914-6 to me to buy 38 years ago. I've known Randy many years too, since meeting on the Colorado Grand many years ago. Great article and congratulations to both!!

OK,
If this is going to be the 'replacement' thread for what I boneheadedly deleted..... This is what I wrote 3 days ago that I tried to merge with the 'new' thread I mistakenly nuked...
Cheers to Ed and Randy
Just finished the Ed Mayo article in the new Excellence........
Randy Wells’ words and photos established Ed’s professional experience and dead on attention to detail; and Ed’s candid homespun responses just confirmed his grassroots, kickass, outlaw enthusiasm….
Well done guys......... and keep giving’m hell Ed….
I’m glad to know you both… and we’re lucky to have you both on this board………
Cheers,
Chuck

It's pretty hard to delete a whole thread in VBulletin, Chuck.... are you sure it's really "gone"???
