    Exclamation Wanted: Dead or Alive - Engine #903188

    Hi all! Engine # 903188 was up on eBay back in March 2012. It looks like it was up there for quite a while. Does anyone know where it is now? According to PCNA, that is the engine that came in my car. Needless to say, i want it! Below is the eBay link. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Demetri

    Mark, that is exactly what I am trying to do. I sent Ben at Porforauto an email last night. He replied this morning saying he thinks it went to Japan. Japan! I am hoping he can verify. There can't be too many 2 liters in Japan, right? Anyone know an enthusiast in Japan? That engine has been out of the car for thirty years, stays in CA the whole time, and then goes to Japan when I start looking for it. This is awesome!

    Just a question, how did you find out what the right engine number is for your car?
    Was that in the Kardex?

    I called Porsche Cars North America. A polite young lady pulled my Kardex and gave me the engine and transmission numbers once I provided proof of ownership. I took a few days.
