    Bill Harris has passed

Some of you may have heard, but we lost member Bill Harris this past week due to an unforeseen illness. Some of you may have seen his excellent fiberglass work installed on cars shown at Porsche events over the years. He was a gifted craftsman, and loved old Porsches.

According to an email I recieved from a close family friend, he passed quietly, surrounded by family. I didn't know Bill all that well, but always admired and will miss his kindness and can-do spirit.

For those who feel it's appropriate and wish to send condolences to his wife and family, please use this address:

Ditto. Didn't have the privilege of knowing him but praying for his family.

Life here can end at a moment's notice; make the most of it.

Bill was a great friend and amazing craftsman.
He lived an amazing life - a true Southern California waterman, Air Force PJ in Vietnam, Oceanside Fire Captain, Lifeguard, Ocean Dory Racer, Boat Builder, and Porsche fanatic. Sure am going to miss him.
    RIP Bill
