FS: Steering Rack with Turbo Tie Rods

Rebuilt Steering Rack, date code 3/83, with fresh-out-of-the-box turbo tie rods.

Rack was disassembled, cleaned, regreased. Bearings were in excellent condition so I left them in, as they say Germany on them and the new bearings I bought did not. They don't make them like they used to. Also reused the Kamax bolts as they were in great shape and provide that period correct look. Bel-Ray 126 EP grease. Aluminum complex thickened (better than Lithium grease), 1% Moly (Molybdenum Disulfide, a dry lubricant similar to graphite) for extreme pressure protection. Pinion teeth and rack teeth looked great, anti-backlash tappet showed very little wear.

Turbo tie rods are brand new Lemfoerder units.

Coupler disc and not installed but you can have them if you want.

$600 plus shipping. This is a great deal when you look at the price of a rebuilt rack on Pelican plus core charge plus turbo tie rods.
