    Opinions wanted--front lower valance

I am putting my 70S back to "stock" and need a new from bumper/valance. I could go with the orig style without the spoiler lip or the slightly later S style with spoiler. Any major reasons for A vs B? I prefer the spoiler look myself ceteris paribus.

I vote B. The S style with spoiler is functional...how fast will you drive it?

No track work. Maybe 100 on a good day. It was setup as track car but I'm over that now. Value is now in stock appearance-no?

I find the car doesn't float until 120 or so, so unless you plan on driving at that speed you won't need the spoiler, much.

Everyone who sees it who knows will say, "you have the wrong spoiler"

Everyone who doesn't know won't care.

It's impractical to drive on public roads in the USA at speeds that justify the aerodynamic impact.

For the track, you want more spoiler than an "S" for sure.

So other than aesthetics, what's the upside?

Just wonder how much the downside on value would be. Cost to change out--say $2000 or so-- when I die my wife wants to sell at auction. Big deal like matching # trans or little deal like later non XWX tires.

I specifically chose the non-spoiler for my white car. I just like the look much more.

And, for rat racing around the mountains, I don't need no steenking badges, er, I mean spoiler!
