    FS: Euro Spec 1972 911E

    Sellers Sales Pitch:

This 911E in Dalmatian Blue over black interior is stunning. It hails from Italy where it had 2 careful owners who only drove it 68,000 total miles. The car is a number's matching example, of course, with wonderful factory sports seats with checkered inserts. The exterior has been repainted its original color and the interior carpeting has been replaced, but other than that, most of the car is original. This E drives wonderfully with excellent acceleration, braking, and corning. It is a joy to take on both backroads as well as high speed highways. One of the better examples available and in a wonderful color combination, i'm not expecting this car to last long. Please call me with any further questions.

    VIN: 9112200432

    $125k

are the seats original? I don't think.
In my opinion the lateral "plate" seems very different to the original....am I wrong?

You are right they do look different.

    1972/1973 Sport Seats

This gorgeous 1973 Sport seat done in green with houndstooth (pepita) inserts is another of Eric Linden's restored by Tony Garcia of Autobahn Interiors (AutobahnInteriors.com).

1972/1973 changed the shape of the headrest from the so called "D" shape to the so called "peanut".

1973 changed the locker system from single locker to double locker for improved safety.

The car on post 1 has repro seats by BF Torino. These are not factory originals to the car.

    see below, same type.
