Does anybody know if there is an equivelant to "Information Regarding PORSCHE Vehicles Used for Sports Purposes 1968" for the '72, '73 cars?
And if there is how can I get a copy?
Thanks

For some items, such as rear quarter glass panels, they are equivalent. Other items such as variations in brakes or transmission, they list different parts and upgrades. In the later years the Sport Purpose documents will outline what one might do with earlier cars, if applicable, but you will find differences in model types. The 68 911R is treated separately and is always outlined by itself because one assumes much of the upgrades have been attached. 911S, T, E will have their own listed upgrades with its parts outlined into appropriate areas (such as brakes, suspension, engine, fuel, body, trans, elec, cockpit). It is a very interesting subject.
You can find a recently typed out copy on word buried deep in this early 911 registry forum. I remember typing one out a couple of years ago, from someone that had posted scanned jpgs. At one point I even started searching the model numbers of items that Porsche posted and I started to embed images and attachment details. I might finish this project someday.

The homologation documents are also very useful as they have all the amendments added for 72-73.
