Anyone able to help?
For a swb, the rear fender supports are different left and right. (per parts book). I suspect for the tank sender wiring.
My 2 supports are the same, so I think I need to drill a hole….but where?

If you can wait until the weekend, I can shoot you a pic of my 68 with the factory S gauge option.
right before the pinch on the bottom side if memory serves (it often doesn't)
don't want it on the top because water wil fill up
i can check tomorrow
