The Bugatti is very nice: the listing says that it recently underwent a full restoration... if that is correct, then it is amazing that the patina is still so present!!!

How much of that Bugatti is original, and proveable?

It is well described in the presentation...

I had the chance to see this car, in the flesh, as I knew the owner. I can tell you that he was a gifted guy, with golden hands! Bugatti's are not my cup of tea, but I can state , without taking too much risks, that this car is probably one of the best sorted car of its category!

Jacques was a REAL car nut, and cars were used as they were supposed to. No considerations about value when he was driving...

First time I met him, he started the car which hadn't been runed for a couple of weeks. He cranked it and it fired on the first attempt. What a sound!
If you have never seen a bugatti, and if you are into technical things, these machines are incredibles, and you can spend hundreds of hours detailing how things were done in the early 30's! I remember spending quite some time looking at the braking mechanisms... Pure engineering and technical PORN!

Hope this car will end with an owner who will do it justice, and drive the hell out of it!

    Olivier
