FS: @eBay - Right Hand Drive Rare Bosch NOS H1 curved fluted lenses for early 911

This is an ultra rare set of New Old Stock Bosch H1 curved fluted lenses for early Porsche 911 in Right Hand Drive. They are engraved with "Bosch" and "4487". They are completely rounded and do not have a flat spot on the top unlike newer H1 lenses.

I got this set in a parts lot with a '65 911 I purchased. The owner was a mechanic, and had some random parts he stocked for Porsches in the shop he owned which closed in the 1980s.

Check my other auctions for more parts.

These are in new condition and have no rock chips or other signs of being used.

I will ship only to continental US. I do not trust such a fragile item to make it overseas intact. Lenses will be well packed and insured.

Auction will run to completion, so please bid with confidence and do not send offers to buy it now.

International buyers should be able to bid now, but I will NOT ship overseas, only to an address in the continental USA. Thanks, and please let me know if you still cannot bid.

What makes them specific to a rhd? Are these used on LHD cars as well? Cheers - Mike

The lens diffuser pattern (look closely at my pics and you will see them) is reversed for the RHD lenses, so yes, the lenses are very different. Headlights are designed so they don't blind oncoming drivers, so you can see why it would need to be different.

I don't need these, but I think you're cutting your nose to spite your face not shipping overseas... Your market for RHD stuff isn't in the States.

Thirty dollars shipping to USA; I can't imagine what it would cost to Europe and beyond! By the way, you have these listed as RHD # 4487 lenz, should be # 7045 as pictured.....might confuse the bidder/buyer.....

Good catch...I have a single 4487 lens that I listed on ebay too and forgot to change that when I copied the ad over. Added an explanation to my listing.

As to the $30, I ship very well packed and insured for the full amount.

I've had one bad experience shipping overseas...I found out the hard way it's very easy for a buyer to get a Paypal refund if a seller can't prove delivery, which isn't possible with most affordable international shipping options. Most Brits and Aussies seem to have family or know people in the US who can forward them on.
