    My first running longhood!

I have a basket case 71T that I am restoring, but now I have a running 72 Targa.

I am really looking forward to this car. It has a nice paint job and interior. I will make some changes to make it mine.
Get rid of the large 965 wing, get rid of the wheels in favor of fuchs, put period correct mirrors, put Recaro SE seats, add a rear sway bar, install euro h4's, install front carrera brakes, add a carrera cooler, and correct the black out chrome and stainless.

The car was restored (hot rodded) and has virtually no rust. It has all been fixed! It has a 3.2 liter in it which I like and a 915 trans. It's not a purist car, but it is a nice driver that I intend on driving alot!

Oh and a bonus! It has the plastic gas tank that is in very good condition! The car sat in a garage for about 10 year with very very little driving.

    Good for you. And congrats.

Looks like you're local. If you ever need access to a lift, booth, or anything else, let me know.

Looks like a good doable project. Nice to be able to bring a good one back close to original condition. Have fun!

Go for it Sundevil! You can only get so much done at a time, so don't tear them both apart at once if you can manage!! Its part of why I am going to ride a while with the green car - the SC needs work too.

    You are obviously having fun

LiveFromNY, I may take you up on the booth or lift sometime. I am local in the north Austin area.
