FS: 1973 Porsche 911T Coupe MFI

    1973 Porsche 911T MFI
    VIN: 9113101172
    Engine: 6131670
    Color: Dalmatian Blue 329

Based on some recent early 911 advertisements, it might be easier to state what this particular 1973 911T is NOT….it isn’t rusty, it isn’t color changed, it isn’t from a barn or garage, a pack of monkeys did not take up residence in the interior, and it isn’t a non-runner with a mysterious gearbox or mechanicals.

    eDSC_0037.jpg

With that said, this is a great running and driving ’73 911T that has had what appears to be one very high quality repaint in the original Dalmatian Blue. The car has MFI fuel injection and it runs very well, having just received a full service at Klub Sport Racing. The gaps and body are very nice and the interior is also in very nice condition. The front pan has been replaced and the car does not appear to have been in any major accidents or had any serious repairs. It was originally sold in Stuttgart, Germany as a US Specification car. The original owner, Mr. Thomas Foster, serviced the car for approximately a year at the factory. The car retains the original owner’s manual and warranty book. Additional service records are also with the car as well as four keys. The tool kit is also present and complete. This is a high driver quality 911T with the desirable MFI.

The tan interior with pepita inserts is in very good condition. The headliner is clean with no tears. All the gauges work and the a new carpet kit is present. The seats are firm and comfortable, most likely reupholstered in the recent past. The door pockets are in very good condition.
The tires are new Vredestien in the correct stock size. All 5 Fuchs match and are in good condition. The steering is tight and the brakes are firm. Over the past several weeks I have driven this car and it gets better and better each time I take it out. This 911T is ready to use and enjoy now I am happy to assist in arranging a PPI.

The documentation is even better than shown. I have a notebook and receipts dating back to 1975. The car spent the majority of its life in Charleston, West Virginia and Charlotte, North Carolna. I also have the COA showing that it is numbers matching.

In the interest of full disclosure, the car MAY have been delivered with cookie cutters as I do have several older pictures that show those on the car, at least in the mid 90's. The COA only states 15x6 alloy wheels.

Is this the same car that Don @ Porsport was selling about a year ago? I seem to recognize the carpet that appears to be incorrect. Other than that, it looks like a beautiful car!!! Good luck with the sale!
